QP’s new premises is bigger than 15 ½ tennis courts: a diode-flashing digital paradise. The advanced Kodak Magnus CTP technology has a PDF workflow system that delivers outstanding results from the front end with digital imaging from 175 to 450 line screen. Staccato FM Hybrid screening produces crisp renditions, super-fine dot structures and continuous tone images without changing the way you provide us your digital media. ISO 12647-2 Colour Management System ensures consistent colour results with colour profiles sent electronically to the printing presses.

Offset printing

The Komori Lithrone A1 Ten colour press and 5 colour + Aq Coater are the heart of our operation. At 720mm x 1020mm sheet size, our Komori presses can print 10 colours or 5 colours plus aqueous varnish in one pass at 15,000 sheets per hour! Our Heidelberg CD74 8 colour can print 720mm x 510mm sheetsize at 15,000 per hour.

A fully computerised print control system enables accurate monitoring of density, registration and print quality. To consistently replicate true colours, we meet ISO 12647-2 Colour Management guidelines so your print job is calibrated to International Colour Standards from start to finish. We are equipped with advanced printing machinery to cover any of your requirements – On time and on budget.

 

Digital

The HP Indigo and Kodak NexPress produce outstanding results as a pair. Our NexPress 5 Colour can print onto virtually any stock, including speciality stocks with a massive sheet size of 356mm x 520mm. The NexPress has the look and feel of offset printing with added advantages of a larger sheet size (356mm x 450mm), photo printing with the 5th RGB gamut expansion colour unit and the ability to print onto an array of speciality stocks and artboards up to 350gsm.

The HP Indigo is the perfect compliment to complete the digital printing high standards. Indigo’s 7 colour printing system and front end software to custom mix Pantone colours will consistently match all printing mediums and with up to 10,000 impressions per hour in black and white.

Large Format
