That Time of Year When Australia Starts Slowing Down
There is a moment every December when Australia quietly shifts into summer mode. The office fridge fills up with leftover treats, emails start with “Hope you are well during this busy period,” and people begin suggesting meetings in January with a kind of shared relief. The car gets hotter, coffees switch to iced lattes, and the national ambition level takes a well-earned dip. We like to think of it as tradition.
At Quality Press, we are right there too. The final print jobs are rolling out, deliveries are heading off, and the team is easing towards that glorious stretch of days where alarms do not matter and lunches somehow take three hours. Before we slip into it fully, we wanted to share our holiday closure details, reflect on the year just gone, and say thank you to the people who made it worthwhile.
Our Christmas Closure Dates
We will be closing at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, 24 December 2025 and reopening on Monday, 5 January 2026. While we are away, the presses will rest, the trimmers will fall silent, and not a single person here will utter the words “urgent run” or “slight artwork adjustment”.
If you have something that absolutely must be printed before the break, it is best to get in touch soon. The season moves quickly. So do we, but there are limits, and they usually arrive right after someone brings in a pavlova.
A Big Year With Plenty of Highlights
This year had a bit of everything. We printed for product launches, international corporate events, sports matches, government campaigns, local businesses finding their feet, and organisations that have been around longer than some of our staff. (Safe to say we refreshed their prints a bit.) updated menus, reworked packaging, and helped more than a few people who opened a file and thought, “What exactly is a teardrop banner?!”
We colour-matched swatches, adjusted artwork sent five minutes before the deadline, and delivered jobs that crossed more postcodes than we will these holidays. We worked with franchises, schools, charities, retailers, departments, and people with great ideas who needed them to look sharp when they hit the real world.
And honestly, we enjoyed it. The variety, the pace, the problem-solving and the people. It is what keeps us sharp and reminds us why we love what we do. Your projects are not just print jobs to us. They are stories, efforts, ambitions, and expressions. Being trusted with that is something we do not take lightly.

What We Wish For You This Summer
Everyone has their own version of a great Australian break. Maybe it is the sound of cicadas at sunset, or that first blast of air conditioning after the sun gets carried away. Maybe it is a long lunch, a road trip with the windows down, or the joy of ignoring your phone for a while.
You might be heading to the beach, escaping to the bush, visiting family, avoiding family, or simply positioning yourself directly under a ceiling fan. Whatever your plans look like, we hope they bring you ease, good company, plenty of laughs, and absolutely no sunburn.
Looking Ahead to 2026
We will be back in January, ready for packaging, signage, stationery, books, banners, labels, promotional print, branded collateral and, inevitably, a few “did you get my email…?” calls. We expect it. We are prepared for it. We are fuelled by coffee.

A Final Note Before We Go
Emails that arrive during the closure will be answered once we return, ideally after the first coffee, when we remember what day it is.
